Jack Colville asked:

Electric heaters can be uses to make your patio more livable even in the chilly months of the year. These heaters can be placed on a patio to make it warmer on chilly nights or during the day during the fall and winter. They come in different shapes and sizes and have different features. The can be plugged into an electrical outlet and have an on/off switch so they can be easily turned off when they are not needed.

Most models come with temperature settings so that you can regulate the amount of heat produced.
Electric heaters can range in appearance from a small box to a larger unit that looks like an outdoor air-conditioning unit. There are even models that look like a wood burning stove. You can find them to fit just about any space and decorating taste.

Many people are concerned about the safety of an electric heater. The new models are very safe. They come with an emergency shut off that will turn the heat off if they get too hot, if something is placed up against the heater or if it gets tipped over. Just like any other electrical devise or heater you have to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and safety precautions.

You should never leave the heater on when you are not home either. If you follow the instructions and take common sense precautions you should be able to safely operate the electric heater. With the many features available on today’s electric heaters you will surely find one that suits your needs beautifully.
